Agnes Marie Guidry

May 14, 1943 - August 20, 2025

Agnes Marie Guidry, age 82, of Smithland, Texas, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, August 20, 2025 in a local nursing home. She was born May 14, 1943 in Oak Grove, Louisiana to Tom and Gwen Dodd. Agnes attended Faith Pentecostal Church and Savannah Baptist Church and worked and managed Pitt Grill for many years.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Barcie Flores; brother, Gene Edward Dodd; and her parents.

Agnes is survived by three sons, Donald J. Guidry (Terri), David Lee Guidry (Marcello), Darrell Keith Guidry (Ashley); daughter, Anetia Burton; sisters, Clara Waller, Celia Hitchcock, Delia Dodd; grandchildren, Angela Perkins (Freddie), Daniel E. Boudreaux, John Thomas Boudreaux; seven great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
