Ann Elkins Hemperley

Ann Elkins Hemperley age 85, of Atlanta, Texas, went to be with the Lord Thursday, July 24, 2025, at her residence surrounded by family. Ann was retired from Thichol, and was a member of Faith Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed spending time with family, and loved horses, and her dog “Commanche”.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James LeRoy Hemperley; daughter, Marlana Teppenpaw; her sons, James Elkins, Mark Elkins; sister, Shirley Gilmore; and by her brothers, Merle and David Thomas.

She is survived by her companion, Danny Bowling of Atlanta, Texas; daughters, Regina Campbell of Bloomburg, TX, Brandi Wilson of Texarkana, TX; 12 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services were 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Faith Pentecostal Church, Atlanta, TX.
