Outlaw’s fair supports VFD

Cullen Baker (1835-1869) may not have been the legendary quickdraw artist some have said, but he did harass the United States Army in his defense of “Southern honor” during and after the Civil War. He was seen by many as a mean, alcoholic murderer.

The fair in Bloomburg, held annually for more than 50 years, is on the first Saturday in November. It supports the town’s volunteer fire department.
