CJ Vick

CJ Vick, age 31, of Jefferson, Texas, passed away in a car accident on June 16, 2025. He was born May 14, 1994 in Paris, Texas. CJ was adopted as a small child and was lovingly raised by William and Evelyn Vick and family. He lived life to the fullest and was a Christian by faith, attending First Assembly of God/ Vivian. CJ had a dynamic personality and was passionate about hunting, fishing, 3wheelers, dogs, work, but most of all, family. He adored his wife and children and they adored him. He worked hard to give them everything they needed and wanted and was thankful to do it.

CJ is preceded in death by his dad, William Vick; and his best friend, Casey Kay.

He is survived by his wife, Jamie McDonald Vick; son, Carson Vick; daughter, Maggie Vick; daughter on the way, Casey Vick; mother, Evelyn Vick; brothers, Jason Vick (Sandy), Johnny Vick (Shawna), James Garza (Shayna), Codi Garza (Elizabeth); father and mother in law, Britt and Wanda McDonald; sister in law; Britney Ragsdale (Daniel); several biological siblings; and a number of nieces, nephews, relatives and numerous friends.

A celebration of CJ’s life will be held at 5:00 p.m., June 29, 2025 at Cross Creek Cowboy Church.
