Homecooked meals selling for the summer

Hungry for something new in Atlanta? Look no further than K’s Lunchbox, ran by Shetonya Keener. Keener is preparing and selling homemade breakfast and lunch meals for the summer Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. The meals are made fresh at 101 West Thomas St. behind Hanner’s Funeral Home with the menu changing weekly.

Customers can pick up a lunch entrée, two sides, bread, and a dessert for just $13.99. This week’s menu included chicken spaghetti, garlic bread, and chocolate cake which was served on Monday, June 9. To see what she’s cooking next, check out Keener’s Facebook page, K’s Lunchbox.

Keener hopes that if sales are good and business picks up, she and her husband, David, can build a location where customers can come in and sit down to eat.
