Groce adds art to L-K Elementary

Holly Street Church of God Pastor, Vernon Groce, is a man of many talents.

Aside from preaching, Groce is employed with Linden-Kildare CISD as a maintenance man, draws the Bud comics found in our paper, makes a mean plate of Pentecostal potatoes for the Brothers in Christ Men’s Breakfast and just started a new venture with his business partner, Justin Gibson, called Painters in Christ.

Groce recently produced several paintings for the elementary library. He painted a couple of underwater scenes, a couple of revolutionary war scenes, a couple of Renaissance castle scenes and some old west scenes. If you look closely, you can see Bud painted in the scenes.
