Shop with a Cop Bingo was successful

On May 2, the Cass County Peace Officers Association hosted its annual Shop with a Cop Bingo Fundraiser at the First Baptist Church Family Life Center in Atlanta, Texas, drawing a crowd of more than 250 community members in support of a worthy cause.

The event raised an impressive $16,000 in donations, with proceeds going directly toward community initiatives, including the annual Shop with a Cop program, which provides holiday shopping experiences for local children in need.

Attendees enjoyed 10 lively rounds of bingo, interspersed with 8–10 giveaway drawings. Thanks to generous donations from local businesses and individuals, everyone in attendance walked away with a prize or giveaway, creating an atmosphere of joy and unity throughout the evening.

“We are incredibly thankful for the amazing turnout and the strong community support,” said Ethan Sartor, vice-president of the Cass County Peace Officers Association. “It’s great to see our neighbors come together to support the youth of Cass County.”

The Association plans to grow the event each year, with a goal of expanding the number of children served through Shop with a Cop. Community involvement is key to these efforts, and the Association welcomes new members and sponsors.

The Association conducts multiple citizen-involved fundraisers annually, with 100 percent of the proceeds going back into the community.

In the past year alone, they have donated medical kits to every patrol deputy in Cass County and contributed to Child Protective Services and other local programs.
