Plant society sale of native plants

The Caddo Wildflower Chapter of the Native Plant Society of Texas will be having a native plant presentation and sale on Sat., May 3. The presentation will begin at 8:30 a.m. and with the sale event ending at 12:00 p.m. The event will be held at the Cass County AgriLife Extension Office at 1008 Louise St. in Atlanta.

The mission of the Native Plant Society of Texas is to promote conservation, research, and utilization of native plants and plant habitats of Texas through education, outreach, and example. Attendees will be able to choose from more than nine different native plants, including but not limited to: purple coneflower, scarlet sage, lemon mint, yarrow, and many more.
