Rabbs on a roll

Atlanta currently sits in second place in the District 14-3A race with just two games left.

That’s due in large to a 5-game district win streak before the game with top-ranked Liberty-Eylau last Friday night.

On Mar. 21, the Rabbits topped New Boston 14-4, as Eli Dryden fanned five batters and gave up just two hits in four-and-a-third innings.

Jayden Riley hit a homerun, Huntley Fisher hit two doubles, Peyton Harrison slapped a double, Cason Whatley hit a double and Easton Owens hit a double. Harrison led the way with four hits and three RBIs.

On Mar. 28, Atlanta thumped Redwater 10-3, as Peyton Harrison sat down five batters and gave up just five hits over five innings.

Jayden Riley hit a double and a triple, Eli Mitchell hit a triple and Harrison added two doubles. Harrison led the way with four hits.

On Apr. 1, Atlanta claimed a slim 1-0 win over DeKalb, as Eli Dryden struck out five batters over seven innings. Brady Partain, Easton Owens and Peyton Harrison each had two hits.

On Apr. 4, the Rabbits blanked rival Queen City 5-0. Peyton Harrison hit a homer and Jayden Riley hit a double. Brady Partain, Harrison and Riley each had two hits in the contest.

On Apr. 8, the Rabbs got even with Hooks from an earlier loss by beating the Hornets 7-3.

Both Huntley Fisher and Peyton Harrison hit doubles. Harrison led with three hits and Eli Mitchell recorded three RBIs.
