Linden-Kildare girls win Redwater Invite

Linden-Kildare’s girls’ powerlifting team won the Redwater Invitational on Feb. 6.

The Lady Tigers edged Hughes Springs by two points and beat out 10 schools in the process.

Carley Hays placed second in her weight class with a total lift of 700 pounds, Allie Watson placed first in her weight class with a total lift of 820 pounds, Cadi Belford placed first in her weight class with a total lift of 850 pounds, Taylor Charington and Devonna Linwood placed 1-2 in their weight class with total lifts of 830 pounds and 800 pounds respectively and Jayden Cervantes placed fifth in her weight class with a total lift of 525 pounds.
