Genealogical society meets every second Thursday

The Cass County Genealogical Society will meet Thursday, December 12 for its annual Christmas Party with a potluck dinner. There will be door prizes and a silent auction. If you have anything to contribute to the auction please bring it.

The Myreline Bowman Award will be presented. The Fall & Winter 2024 C.C.G.S. Journal will be distributed. They will be introducing their newly elected officers for 2025 / 2026. There will be lots of fun and great fellowship for all.

The meeting starts at noon and they hope that you will come and bring a friend to join them for this “GOOD TIME” in the Fellowship Hall of the Queen City Methodist Church in Queen City, Texas on the corner of Marietta and Fourth Streets.

This is a potluck dinner so please bring a covered dish, C.C.G.S. will furnish the turkey, ham, gravy, dressing, and beverages and as always, the public is invited. For more information please call 903-796-3081.
