SHOP WITH A COP GROWS IN 2024

Shop with a cop was a rousing success in 2024, boasting the largest participation yet. According to DPS Sergeant Ethan Sartor, “This was the largest shop with a cop to date in Cass County with 50 total children participating. It’s also the only time we’ve ever been able to have participants from every school district in the county, Typically we’ve had to cycle west side schools one year, then east side the next. However this year we had Atlanta, QC, Avinger, McLeod, Linden, Hughes Springs, Bloomburg and three home-schooled children. The funds were raised thru community events , the biggest being shop with a cop bingo that we held this last year. Walmart also provided a large amount of the funding as well as other individuals and businesses in the area.”
