Jill Crocker has announced her resignation from the Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerce effective at the end of 2024. In her time at the chamber, the organization has grown exponentially, seeing 32% growth, while working to strengthen its role as a pivotal force in the region’s business landscape.
In a statement to the Journal-Sun, Jill reflected on her tenure, saying, “It has been an incredible honor to serve as the President of this Chamber. Together with our dedicated team and members, we’ve made significant strides in fostering stronger community engagement, advancing volunteerism, and elevating awareness of local business practices. These achievements reflect not just the work of one individual, but the collective effort of our vibrant business community.”
During Jill’s time at the helm, the Chamber focused on bridging the gap between businesses and the broader community, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and shared responsibility. “The Chamber is not just one person or one office—it belongs to the entire community, and to the members it serves. The true strength of this organization lies in its people, its values, and its shared commitment to a thriving, inclusive local economy,” said Crocker.
Looking forward, the Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerce is actively seeking a dynamic leader to build on this legacy and continue its mission to support and grow local businesses. Resumes are now being accepted for the position of President. They are looking for candidates who are passionate about community engagement, growth, and the continued success of the Chamber’s programs.
Even as Crocker moves on to new opportunities, the Chamber’s goal remains firmly committed to its mission of fostering a strong, united business community. They also look forward to the next chapter under new leadership.
