Readers’ Choice Best Food, Drink, Arts & Entertainment ENDS this week!

Readers’ Choice Best Food, Drink, Arts & Entertainment is back again this year and voting begins this week. So make sure you make your final picks. Voting will go through November 22 and only includes the best food, drink, arts & entertainment categories. This year we featured two contests. The first contest only featured the best people and places. The second contest begins this week featuring food, drink, arts, and entertainment. So, you will be able to vote for things like the best cheeseburger, artists, and musicians in our area.

This year we are using new voting software to hold the contest. This comes with excitement and challenges. Thanks for your patience through the launch. The good news is the same software we used in the previous contest we had this year so most of the kinks have been worked out.

There are some things to know about when voting.

• All ballots are digital in 2024. There will be no paper voting this year.

• Click on each main category, like Best of Music, Best of Mexican Food, or Best of Artistry to find a list of options to vote from.

• You can vote once every hour per category

• Advertisers can put an ad/logo above their entry. Contact sales@casscountynow.com or call 903-796-7133. Adding a logo can increase attention, visibility, and reputability. Contact Shawn Larson for more information.

• VOTING runs through November 22 at 10:00 p.m.

• The ballots take a few moments to load on the page after the rest of the page loads, be patient.

This year we have some new categories and subcategories. They are organized a bit differently. Once you open the page you will notice the changes.

BEFORE YOU MAKE A SUGGESTION, WE SUGGEST: 1. Vote first to make sure someone else hasn’t suggested the business or person already.

2. Please nominate the person or business in the right category.

3. Please only nominate an entry once per category. Duplicates and their votes may be deleted.

4. If nominating an individual, please also list the associated business. Example: Dave Thomas - Joe’s Burger Joint If you have entered your suggestion - please wait for approval. Do not reenter suggestions.
