Bloomburg junior high and high school Student Council and National Honor Society members picked up trash last week to help clean up the town for the up coming Cullen Baker Fair.
QCHS students in Advanced Floral Design made and delivered arrangements for the ladies who keep QCHS running.
“READY,SET,SHOP!” McLeod grade level winners who brought in the most for the elementary fundraiser celebrated by shopping, eating lunch at Pizza Hut and playing in the park.
Readers’ Choice Best Food, Drink, Arts & Entertainment starts this week
Readers’ Choice Best Food, Drink, Arts & Entertainment is back again this year and voting starts this week. Voting will go through November 15 and only includes the best food, drink, arts & entertainment categories. This year we featured two contests.
The first contest only featured the best people and places. The second contest starts this week featuring food, drink, arts, and entertainment. So, you will be able to vote for things like the best cheeseburger, artists, and musicians in our area.
This year we are using new voting software to hold the contest. This comes with excitement and challenges. Thanks for your patience through the launch. The good news it’s the same software we used in the previous contest we had this year so most of the kinks have been worked out.
There are some things to know about when voting.
• All Ballots are Digital in 2024. There will be no paper voting this year.
• Click on each main category, like Best of Music, Best of Mexican Food, or Best of Artistry to find a list of options to vote from.
• You can vote once every hour per category
• Advertisers can put an ad/logo above their entry. Contact sales@casscountynow.com or call 903-796-7133. Adding a logo can increase attention, visibility, and reputability. Contact Shawn Larson for more information.
• VOTING runs through November 15.
• The ballots take a few moments to load on the page after the rest of the page loads, be patient.
• If something doesn’t look right on the form try to refresh
