Fidelity Communication is now Sparklight

Fidelity Communications is now re-branding itself as Sparklight . In 2019 Fidelity was purchased by Cable One, Inc., providing many in the Cass County area with services like internet, television (cable), phone and business services. As of now the only thing that will change will be the branding and Sparklight will no longer accept American Express as of September 2024.

Customers will begin to see changes in how your bill’s branding looks, along with the new branding of company trucks and uniforms.

According to a recent press release, “Fidelity Communications is pleased to share it is re-branding as Sparklight. Under the Sparklight brand, the company will continue its legacy of providing fast, reliable internet and neighborly local service while delivering enhanced customer self-service options and the latest technological advancements.

This investment lays the groundwork for 10 Gigabit (10G) speeds and ushers in a new era of innovation that will further enrich the lives of customers and contribute to the economic development of the communities it serves.

“Under the Sparklight brand, the company remains dedicated to giving back to its communities through both time and resources. This includes the company’s Angel Day program, which offers associates a paid day off to volunteer with organizations they care about, and through its Charitable Giving Fund, which annually awards $250,000 in grants to local nonprofits in areas focusing on education and digital literacy; hunger relief; and community development.

“The transition to Sparklight began this summer and will occur over a period of months. Customers will receive ongoing communications through the end of the year to ensure a seamless transition.”

In a recent FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) page in the help section, “Fidelity customers who pay with American Express will need to update their Autopay accounts to another form of payment by September 30, 2024, to avoid potential disruption of service. Customers who do not use American Express do not need to make any changes to their Autopay accounts at this time. Customers will be notified in advance of changes should any be required in the future.”

“Sparklight offers many convenient payment options – whether online, over the phone, by mail, or via third-payment locations – and accepts checks, ACH, Visa, Mastercard and Discover.”

According the the FAQ, customers at this point will not need to make any changes to their bank or payment options other than AMEX. Also, you can continue to send your bill to the same place if you send your payment through the mail.

It should also be noted that according to the same FAQ, pricing should not change. To make sure you are getting the best pricing and services for you it is recommended by many financial advisors that you regularly check websites and advertisements to make sure you are getting the best prices and services that work best for you.

The release closes with a quote from the president of Sparklight. “We are excited to welcome our Fidelity customers to the Sparklight brand,” Laulis said. “We’re honored to serve the cities and towns our associates call home and are always working to connect our customers to the things they care most about, including family, work, entertainment and community.”
