Last week, Ethan Sartor, a local DPS Sergeant, went to the annual Uniformed Safety Education Officers Workshop (U.S.E.O.W) in Kansas City, Missouri. All the states submit a TV PSA, radio PSA, public safety presentation, and traffic safety presentation. Ethan won 1st place in the public safety category with his presentation “The Tech Talk”. Which is a presentation designed for parents to discuss internet safety with teens. The presentation goes over multiple risk factors that modern-day internet access can hold. And how online predators are now using A.I. to alter images and voices, making it harder for kids to stay safe.
