Atlanta’s new sport venture — 903 Baseball and Softball Academy — held a grand opening of food and fun Saturday afternoon to thank the public for its acceptance of the new personal development opportunity.

“After a month and a half of opening, we wanted to do something to thank and give back to the public,” said owner Jay Owens. “So we planned this afternoon of fun and appreciation.”

The public was invited to experience this practice gym and pro-shop and enjoy the personal and professional relationships offered.

In one example of the community relationship offered, the academy recently opened on a day when electricity and school were both out.

“We wanted to find a way to get those kids out of the house and at the same time get those practice swings in,” owners Jay and Jennifer Owens said.

“So, come to 903,” they said.

The 903 Baseball and Softball facility is located at 214 North East Street in downtown Atlanta.
