McLeod’s softball team beat Kerens 5-4 for the Area title in a 1-game playoff last week. The Lady Longhorns will take on Como-Pickton next in a 3-game series beginning at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 9. Game two is at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 10, and game three, if necessary, will take place at 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 11. All games will be played at Hooks High School.
