Beekeeper to the Rescue
Tuesday afternoon, I was standing outside with my daughter talking and a swarm of bees came over her car. At first, I thought they were gnats, but we heard them buzzing.
Over her car were about 2.000 bees or more so we ran on the patio and tried to film it. Then they went into my neighbor’s back yard, just swarming where they landed on a tree.
I called animal control; they told me they don’t do bees. The police officer told me to call Randal Lee.
I asked, “what do I need a lawyer for”? The officer told me he contains bees, so I gave him a call and he thought I was talking about a few bees. When I told him a swarm, he came right away and brought a bee box with him.
He walked in the midst of the bees and placed the box down. He told me they will go in the box in about two to three days total. About an hour later I looked outside and the bees were swarming again, right over the box.
So, I called Randal back and told him the bees were going in the box and asked are they going to stay? He comes back over, walks up to the box, closes the door while bees are all around and puts them in his truck.
