QUEEN CITY

Queen City competed in the Gerald Pinkham Relays hosted by DeKalb High School on Mar. 28.

The varsity boys finished first in the for the fourth week in a row, the JV boys finished third and the Lady Bulldogs placed second overall.

Varsity Boys

In the 100m dash Charlie Campbell-Kirkland placed third and Delvon Federick sixth; in the 200m dash Nicolas Herring placed third and Charlie Campbell Kirkland fourth; in the 400m dash Lathan Chamblee placed fourth; in the 800m run Caleb Kimble placed third and Xavier Allison sixth; in the 1600m run Allison placed sixth; in the 3200m run Timothy Brady placed fourth and Allison sixth and Trevonne Horsley placed second in 110m hurdles and third in 300m hurdles.

The 4x200 Meter Relay team of DJ Henson, Delvon Federick, Daketrick Smith and Herring placed first and the 4x400 Meter Relay team of Henson, Hunter Parker, Smith and Chamblee placed third.

In long jump Smith placed fourth; in triple jump Henson placed first, Federick third and Smith sixth; in pole vault Isaac Thomas placed second and Jeremiah Henderson third; in discus Levi Bynum placed first and in shot David Jackson placed second.

Varsity Girls

In the 400m dash Serenity Oden placed fourth; in the 100m hurdles Lola Gladden placed second and Mallory Hamilton sixth; the 4x100m relay team of Oden, Makayla Wilson, Jamecia Cook and Brooklynn Garner placed fourth, the 4x200m relay team of Ava Norton, Kerian Thomas, Jamecia Cook and Brooklynn Garner placed fifth and the 4x400m relay team of Oden, Garner, Norton and Cook placed second.

Garner placed fourth in long jmup and first in triple jump; Oden placed third in High Jump; in discus Gracie Alexander placed third and Makenna Hamilton sixth and in Pole Vault Reagan Hargrave placed first, Kaylin Griffin second and Norton third.

JV Boys

In the 100m dash Kamron Andrews placed fourth and Jason Joffray fifth; Joffray placed sixth in the 200m dash; in the 400m dash James Gladden placed third; In the 1600m run Dion Metzger placed sixth; in the 3200m run Metzger placed second and Elliott Smith fifth and in the 300m hurdles Chris Brown placed fifth. The 4x100 Meter Relay team of DJ Parker, Malaki Richardson, TJ Guest and Derell Sewell took home fourth place; the 4x200m relay team of the same lineup placed third and the 4x400m relay team of Gladden, Tavon Andrews, Guest and Richardson placed second.

In high jump Kamron Andrews placed first; in triple jump Tavon Andrews placed first; in long jump Parker placed fifth and Guest sixth; in pole vault Gladden and Tavon Andrews tied for third place and Alex Venable placed second in shot and fourth in discus.
