Queen City football earns All-District honors

Queen City’s football team made the playoffs this year and made their mark on the season.

The Bulldogs look primed to go deeper in the state playoffs next season even with realignment coming up.

Junior quarterback Hunter Parker earned First Team Offense honors, senior DL Mason Stringer took home First Team Defense honors, senior OLB Delvon Federick took home First Team Defense honors and junior Noah Williams earned First Team Punter honors.

Players who earned Second Team Offense honors were senior RB Delvon Federick, senior WR Rylee Green and senior Kicker Trey Jones. Players who earned Second Team Defense honors were senior DL Ke’Idie Harrison, senior OLB Lathan Chamblee, junior ILB Messiah Grundy and senior DB Rylee Green.

Senior Kaden Satterfield was named the Utility Player of the Year and senior teammate Trey Jones was named the Special Teams Player of the Year.

Honorable Mention Players on offense were freshman OL David Jackson, junior OL Willie Grundy, senior OL Daniel Jones and junior RB Jason Joffray.

Honorable Mention Players on defense were senior OLB Christian Nard, sophomore DB DJ Henson and junior DB Brayden Wiley.
