Introducing T.H.R.I.V.E: An Innovative Program Targeting School Leadership and Planning

In an effort to elevate school leadership and foster an environment of continuous improvement, Region 8 Education Service Center proudly introduces T.H.R.I.V.E., a proactive initiative designed to enhance educational leadership and support.

This forward-thinking program empowers school principals and assistant principals to lead with purpose, utilizing a multifaceted approach that addresses critical areas of school improvement.

T.H.R.I.V.E is an acronym that encapsulates the core principles and values that form the foundation of this transformative program: T - Targets School Leadership and Planning H - Hones a Positive School Culture R - Relies on High-Quality Instructional Materials and Assessments I - Invests in Retaining and Developing Staff V - Values Data-Driven Instruction E - Establishes Effective Instruction THRIVE is specifically tailored to cater to the needs and aspirations of school leaders, providing them with a platform to excel in leadership and drive positive change within their school districts.

This program recognizes the critical role that principals and assistant principals play in shaping the educational experience of students, and strives to equip administrators with the tools and knowledge necessary to lead effectively.

As part of this comprehensive program, school leaders complete 36 hours of transformative professional development centered around the T.H.R.I.V.E principles. A large part of this training aligns with the Effective Schools Framework (ESF) vision to provide research-based best practices that support successful school outcomes.

Upon successful completion, participants were honored with a luncheon at Region 8 ESC sponsored by Coryell Roofing & Live Oak Financial.
