SummerFest, Fireworks Show this Saturday

SummerFest & Fireworks Show is set to happen again this weekend Saturday, July 1st from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. For those who have never been out to one, you can expect food, booths, music, activities and fun, and of course fireworks. Admission is free In a release to the Journal-Sun, it was announced that “The Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the City of Atlanta, is pleased to announce the 2023 SummerFest & Fireworks Show on Saturday, July 1st. We will celebrate America’s Independence with an evening of family fun! The event is held behind the Atlanta Fire Department at 606 S. Louise St.

“SummerFest includes FREE parking and admission, a live concert by The Dusty Rose Band, on-site food vendors, yard games, and more! We will wrap up the evening with our annual professional fireworks show! Event t-shirts will be available for $15 Those who purchase a t-shirt will be placed in a drawing to win a 22” tabletop griddle and 14 pcs griddle set donated by our Presenting Sponsor, Genesis PrimeCare.

Typically there is plenty of parking and people bring their chairs and blankets to come out and watch the fireworks.
