Seventh Grade Girls

Atlanta

Atlanta’s junior high track program competed in the 14-3A district track meet on Apr. 3.

The seventh-grade boys rolled to a district championship by 47.5 points and the eighth-grade boys placed third.

The seventh-grade girls won a district title by 81 points and the eighth-grade girls won a title by 72 points.

Seventh Grade Boys

In the 100m dash Jamario Crawford placed first at 11.90 and TJ Rainey placed third at 12.53, in the 200m dash Crawford placed second at 26.18, in the 400m dash Cannon Hammonds placed second at 1:01.75 and Breckin Wells placed third at 1:01.99, in the 110m hurdles Dayton Havard placed second at 19.18 and Jordan Platt placed fourth at 21.10 and in the 300m hurdles Havard placed third at 52.23, Drake Fagan placed fifth at 53.50 and Hayes Highland placed sixth at 54.66.

In the 800m run Highland placed third at 2:41.53, in the 1600m run Noah Sheffield placed third at 6:04.70 and Jayden McCullough placed fourth at 6:14.97 and in the 2400m run Sheffield placed third at 9:53.25 and McCullough placed fifth at 10:40.00.

The young Rabbits swept the relays. The 4x100m relay team of Dre Simmons, Rainey, Ean Riojas and Wells placed first at 50.55, the 4x200m relay team Simmons, Rainey, Riojas and Crawford placed first at 1:46.56 and the 4x4 team of Simmons, Wells, Highland and Hammonds placed first at 4:15.00.

In long jump Simmons placed second at 16 feet, 8 1/2 inches, in triple jump Rainey placed first at 36 feet, 5 inches, in high jump Simmons placed first at 4 feet, 11 inches, in pole vault Jack Shew placed fourth at 6 feet even and in shot Riojas placed first at 37 feet, 8 3/4 inches, Hammonds placed fourth at 34 feet, 1 1/2 inches and Jaylen Henderson placed sixth at 30 feet, 9 1/2 inches.

Eighth Grade Boys

In the 100m dash Kaigen Lloyd placed fourth at 12.40, in the 200m dash Jaden Smith placed second at 25.41 and Cortez Johnson placed fifth at 26.37, in the 400m dash Colby Wells placed fourth at 1:00.87 and Joey Hopkins placed sixth at 1:02.90, in the 110m hurdles Easton Patterson placed third at 19.53, in the 300m hurdles Aiden Eason placed third at 50.31 and Patterson placed fifth at 51.25, in the 1600m run Braiden Tolbert placed fifth at 6:01.89 and in the 2400m run Preston Braley placed fourth at 9:43.86 and Parker Braley placed sixth at 9:51.56.

The 4x100m relay team of Landon Thomas, TJ Hamilton, Smith and Lloyd placed third at 48.21, the 4x200m relay team of the same lineup placed second at 1:40.54 and the 4x4 relay team of Thomas, Hamilton, Dailen Collins and Liam McKinney placed fifth at 4:05.80.

In long jump Thomas placed sixth at 16 feet, 10 inches, in triple jump Thomas placed fourth at 35 feet, 10 inches, in discus Kam Williams placed first at 118 feet, 8 inches, Jaylen Finley placed third at 107 feet, 8 inches and Wells placed fifth at 92 feet, 11 inches and in shot Williams won first with a toss of 43 feet, 9 inches and Finley placed fifth at 35 feet, 6 inches.

In the 200m dash Sasha Ramirez placed first at 27.62, Makayla Collins placed second at 30.09 and Sariyah Williams placed fourth at 30.59, in the 400m dash Kayleigh Cupples placed second at 1:09.76 and Williams placed third at 1:10.71, in the 110m hurdles Chloe Simms placed second at 19.65 and Makayla Turner placed third at 20.65 and in the 300m hurdles Tamara Pearson placed third at 58.62 and Simms placed fourth at 1L00.87.

In the 800m run Cupples placed first at 2:44.55 and Kira Scott placed sixth at 3:10.37, in the 1600m run Jaylee Phillips, Landry Peace and Lilliana Mendez finished 2-3-4 with times of 6:49.33, 6:56.36 and 7:22.05 respectively, in the 2400m run Peace placed second at 11:01.10 and Phillips placed third at 11:03.61.

Atlanta swept the relays. The 4x100m team of Ahlayla Noble, Kherington Baca, Collins and Ramirez placed first at 53.90, the 4x200m team of the same lineup placed first at 1:55.88 and the 4x4 team of Noble, Cupples, Baca and Williams placed first at 4:46.70.

In long jump Williams and Simms placed 3-4 with marks of 13 feet, 11 inches and 13 feet, 10 1/2 inches, in discus Kamryn Morris placed third at 59 feet, 10 1/2 inches and in triple jump Bailey Brooks placed fifth at 26 feet, 3 inches.

Eighth Grade Girls

In the 100m dash Sophia Price placed second at 14.08, Zion Bickham placed fourth at 14.32 and Gracie McWilliams placed fifth at 14.35, in the 200m dash Ke’Mauri Johnson placed first at 28.78, Bickham placed second at 29.84 and Zatavia Nash placed fourth at 30.81, in the 400m dash McWilliams placed second at 1:10.60 and Gracie Jeffirs placed fifth at 1:14.46, in the 100m hurdles Chloe Puckett placed sixth at 20.12 and in the 300m hurdles Puckett placed second at 58.68.

In the 800m run Price placed first at 2:43.48 and Abigail Morales placed sixth at 3:08.58 and in the 1600m run Price placed first overall at 6:33.97.

Atlanta swept the relays. The 4x100m relay team of Jaliyah Gordon, Johnson, Makenzie Birmingham and Skylar Spencer placed first at 53.30, the 4x200m relay team of the same lineup placed first at 1:53.06 and the 4x4 team of McWilliams, Gordon, Birmingham and Spencer placed first at 4:35.48.

In long jump McWilliams placed second at 14 feet, 10 inches and Gordon placed fifth at 13 feet, 8 1/2 inches, in triple jump McWilliams placed first at 29 feet, 10 inches and in shot Gabby Arredondo placed second at 29 feet, 9 inches and Hannah McClanahan placed third at 29 feet, 8 inches.

Linden-Kildare

Linden-Kildare’s junior high track members competed in the 21-2A District track meet on Apr. 3-4.

The eighth-grade girls won a district championship in fine fashion. The varsity girls got in a little work at the Atkins Relays in White Oak as bad weather blanketed the area on Apr. 6.

Varsity Girls

In the 200m dash Madi Bynum placed first at 27.59, in the 100m hurdles Jacee Quaid placed fifth at 19.85, in the 300m hurdles Quaid placed fifth at 57.48, the 4x100m relay team of Carley hays, Bynum, Jamiah Birmingham and Jakiah Birmingham placed first at 52.02 and the 4x200m relay team of the same lineup placed second at 1:53.37.

Seventh Grade Boys

In the 100m dash Ja’Koryn Love placed sixth at 13.76, in the 200m dash Love placed fifth at 29.16, in the 400m dash Alex Munoz placed fourth at 1:04.98 and in the 800m run Munoz placed third at 2:38.46.

Eighth Grade Boys

In the 100m dash Ayden Rainge placed fourth at 12.32 and in the 200m dash Rainge placed fourth at 27.07.

Seventh Grade Girls

In the 100m dash Brooklyn Bynum placed fourth at 15.02 and Cadence Stiger placed sixth at 15.36 and in shot Jessie Higgins placed third at 27 feet, 11 inches.

Eighth Grade Girls

In the 100m dash Alexis Benton placed fifth at 15.61 and Ada Whatley placed sixth at 15.78, in the 200m dash Makinah Washington placed fourth at 29.92, in the 100m hurdles Maggee Winters placed first at 18.30 and in the 300m hurdles Winters placed second at 55.85.

The young Lady Tigers swept the relays. The 4x100m team of Washington, Olivia Stewart, Kalysa Roberts and Summer Gibson placed first at 54.18, the 4x200m team of the same lineup placed first at 1:57.35 and the 4x400m team of Winters, Stewart, Roberts and Gibson placed first at 4:39.54.

In long jump Roberts placed third and Gibson fourth with marks of 14 feet, 8 inches and 14 feet, 3 inches respectively, in triple jump Roberts placed third at 28 feet, 6 inches, Washington placed fifth at 28 feet, 2 inches and Winters placed sixth at 27 feet even, in discus Devonna Linwood placed fourth at 61 feet, 2 inches and in shot Charington Taylor placed second at 29 feet, 2 1/2 inches, Linwood placed fourth at 27 feet, 3 1/2 inches and Cadence Belford placed sixth at 26 feet, 8 inches.

McLeod

McLeod’s junior high track members competed in the 21-2A District track meet on Apr. 3-4.

Seventh Grade Boys

In the 100m dash Kylar Lovett placed fifth at 13.75, in the 200m dash Lovett placed sixth at 29.54, in the 1600m run Rem Clark placed second at 6:20.19 and Wes Martin placed third at 6:27.74, in the 2400m run Clark placed first at 10:22.29 and in shot Lovett placed sixth with a toss of 30 feet, 10 1/2 inches.

Eighth Grade Boys

In the 400m dash Gauge Cross placed sixth at 1:02.90, in the 1600m run Cross placed fifth at 6:16.16, in the 110m hurdles Malachi Rhodes placed third at 20.38, in the 300m hurdles Rhodes placed sixth at 55.80 and in high jump Cross placed second at 5 feet, 4 inches.

Seventh Grade Girls

In the 400m dash Landry Austin placed sixth at 1:16.79, in the 800m run Audri Parker placed fourth at 3:00.10, in the 1600m run Parker placed sixth at 6:58.30, in the 2400m run Cypriss Young placed third at 11:32.50, in the 100m hurdles Brooklyn Stringham placed sixth at 21.43, in high jump Kinley Carver placed fifth at 4 feet even and the 4x200m relay team of Natalie Entrekin, Kylee Terry, Brynn Foster and Ariel Richardson placed sixth at 2:25.41.

Eighth Grade girls

In the 300m hurdles Emmaryn Singley placed fifth at 1:08.10, in the 800m run Landry Austin placed first at 2:59.19, Neely Hale placed fourth at 3:08.80 and Kate Armstrong placed fifth at 3:09.42, in the 1600m run Austin placed second at 7:03.38 and in discus Kayleigh Whatley placed fifth at 60 feet, 4 inches.

Queen City

Queen City’s junior high track program competed in the 14-3A district track meet on Apr. 3.

The eighth-grade boys’ program rolled to a district championship and outdistanced the second-place team by 28 points. The varsity girls got in a little work at the Atkins Relays in White Oak as bad weather blanketed the area on Apr. 6.

Varsity Girls

In the 100m dash Cassidy Johnson placed fourth

at 13.81, in the 100m hurdles Lola Gladden placed fourth at 19.18, in the 300m hurdles Toni McCellon placed first at 49.53 and the 4x100m relay team of Amiya Young, Serenity Oden, McCellon and Johnson placed fifth at 53.33.

Seventh Grade Boys

In the 200m dash Lincoln Moore placed sixth at 28.39, in the 400m dash Brady Majors placed fifth at 1:06.18, in the 1600m run Landry Blythe placed first at 5:49.00, in the 2400m run Blythe placed first at 8:57.00, in triple jump Moore placed third at 32 feet, 2 inches and in pole vault Moore placed first at 7 feet even and Sam Clayton placed second at 6 feet, 6 inches.

The 4x100m relay team of Majors, Tristan Wilkerson, T’shod Bolden and Moore placed fourth at 54.59, the 4x200m relay team of Wilkerson, Bolden, Easton West and Damion Ojeda placed fourth at 2:00.90 and the 4x4 team of Majors, Blythe, Bolden and Moore placed third at 4:29.00.

Eighth Grade Boys

In the 100m dash Semaj Booth and Kindrick Young placed 2-3 with times of 11.57 and 12.15 respectively, in the 400m dash Derell Sewell placed third at 1:00.40 and James Gladden placed fifth at 1:01.68, in the 800m run Trenton Belk placed third at 2:25.00, in the 1600m run Dion Metzger placed third at 5:49.21 and Payden Glass placed fourth at 6:01.46, in the 2400m run Metzger placed second at 9:28.00 and Glass placed third at 9:35.95, in the 100m hurdles Chris Brown placed fourth at 19.63 and Evan Benson placed fifth at 19.77 and in the 300m hurdles Young placed first at 47.82.

The 4x100m relay team of Sean Missildine, Sewell, Martrevious Banks and David Jackson placed fifth at 49.34, the 4x200m relay team of Missildine, Banks, Young and Booth placed third at 1:41.88 and the 4x4 relay team of Dewell, Banks, Belk and Gladden placed fourth at 3:59.90.

In long jump Young placed first at 18 feet, 11 3/4 inches, Belk placed fourth at 17 feet 6 1/2 inches and Sewell placed fifth at 17 feet, 4 1/2 inches, in triple jump Sewell placed second at 36 feet, 2 1/2 inches, Belk placed third at 36 feet, 2 inches and Benson placed sixth at 33 feet, 4 inches, in high jump Young placed first at 5 feet, 6 inches and Banks placed fifth at 4 feet, 10 inches, in pole vault Gladden placed third at 7 feet even and Gunner Loftin placed fourth at 7 feet even, in discus Jackson placed fourth at 103 feet, 2 inches and in shot Jackson placed second at 43 feet, 5 inches.

Seventh Grade Girls

In the 100m dash Ella Baker placed fifth at 14.43, in the 400m dash Baker placed first at 1:08.37, in the 800m run Sarah Jones placed fourth at 3:05.62, in shot Peyton Granado placed fourth at 25 feet, 9 inches, in discus Indee Donaldson placed first at 63 feet, 1 inch and Granado placed fourth at 59 feet, 10 inches and in triple jump Baker placed second at 27 feet, 9 1/2 inches and Anna Johnson placed sixth at 25 feet, 10 1/2 inches.

Eighth Grade Girls

In the 1600m run Abigail Bickham placed sixth at 7:29.96, in the 2400m run Bickham placed fourth at 12:11.07, in the 100m hurdles Mallory Hamilton placed second at 18.61 and in the 300m hurdles Hamilton placed third at 58.95.

The 4x100m relay team of Ava Norton, Breana Mc-Connell, Lucy Kelton and Kaylin Griffin placed fifth at 58.38, the 4x200m relay team of the same lineup placed fifth at 2:07.81 and the 4x4 relay team of Ava Shelton, Norton, Griffin and Bailee Black placed fifth at 5:20.15.

In long jump Norton placed sixth at 13 feet, 5 inches, in high jump Hamilton placed third at 4 feet, 4 inches, in pole vault Griffin placed first at 6 feet, 6 inches, in shot Hannah Blaylock placed sixth at 28 feet, 4 inches and in discus Macy Snelgrove placed first at 71 feet, 6 1/2 inches and Anna Young placed second at 71 feet, 1 inch.
