Queen City Methodist Church Easter Sunrise Service
In addition to their regular 11:00 a.m. worship service, the Queen City Methodist Church will host a sunrise service on Easter morning Sunday, April 9th beginning at 7:30. All are invited to attend and celebrate our risen Savior. For more information, contact Pastor Jeff Dotson at (903) 8265828.
Cass County Genealogical Society Membership Meeting
The Cass County Genealogical Society will hold their membership meeting on Thursday, April 13th, 2023.
At our April meeting C.C.G.S. Member, Dell Griffin will present a program entitled “Back Home in Sulfur Township, Miller County, Arkansas.” You don’t want to miss this interesting and informative program.
The meeting will start at 12:00 noon, lunch will be served at 12:30 pm and the program will start at 1:00 pm, and we hope that as many of you as possible will join us for this program, and please feel free to bring a friend. The meeting will be held in our usual location, The Fellowship Hall of The Methodist Church of Queen City at Marietta and Fourth Streets, Queen City, Texas.
As always we will serve a light meal and beverages and the public is always invited.

Mary Daugherty Senior Citizens Center
The Mary Daugherty Senior Citizens Center is open all week for anyone who would like to join the group there for bingo, exercise, crocheting and a meal.
Monday, Wednesday and Friday exercise is from 9:15 a.m. to 10 a.m., followed by bingo from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. and eating from 10:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
On Tuesday crocheting is from 9:15 a.m. to 10 a.m., followed by bingo from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. and eating from 10:45 to 11:30. On Thursday bingo is from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., followed by eating from 10:45 to 11:30.
Every third Friday of the month they have “Birthday Friday” where they celebrate birthdays and have cake for those present. That normally begins at 10:45.
Laws Chapel Cemetery Association
Will hold its semi-annual meeting, Tuesday, April 18 at 6 p.m. at the Laws Chapel United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall in Atlanta.
