Programming Coordinator Randi Strutton shows off the audiobook copy of this month’s 4th Tuesday Book Club book,“Thank You for Listening,” by Julia Whelan.

Library Director Kendra Harrell proudly introduced the newly re-designed seed library, stocked with over 160 varieties. The seed library is free to use, the library just asks that you bring back any seeds you don’t use.

Nimble Thimble Quilt Club, which meets at Atlanta Public Library on Tuesdays, surprised Laura Rash on her 86th birthday. The patriotic quilt, to honor Laura’s time in the Navy, was made by Barbara Duke.

The library hosted a gardening class on February 11th, taught by Jessica Fitzgerald from the Cass County Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.The takeaway, especially with fruit trees, was “Keep your gratitude higher than your expectations.”
