Fant named to All-ASC Team

Former Atlanta Rabbit standout Cade Fant was named to the American Southwest All-Conference Football Team recently as an Honorable Mention Tight End.

Fant finished 2022 with 16 catches for 135 yards and three touchdowns for the East Texas Baptist University (ETBU) Tigers. After overcoming a torn ACL his freshman year, Fant has been a starter the past two years and has been a member of the Academic All-ASC team since 2020.

The Tigers won their last three games to finish in fourth place in the rugged 9-team ASC which includes defending national champion Mary Hardin Baylor and perennial power Hardin Simmons University.

Former Atlanta Coach Craig Fant coached the Tiger offensive line and had three All-ASC selections.
