ATLANTA

ATLANTA, TX – Members of the Atlanta High School debate team competed in the University Interscholastic League Regional Congress competition on Nov. 10.

Those who competed were juniors Dasia Jeffley and Jon Kennedy, sophomores Trinity Adams and Michael Dubuisson, and senior Cademon Larson.

Adams finished in ninth place, Kennedy finished eighth and Dubuisson finished seventh. Larson tied for third place but lost the tie breaker, placing fourth overall and first alternate to state.

Larson also received the Golden Gavel for winning top Presiding Officer. The team is coached by Stuart Drake
