An auction you can “chair-ish
For their latest project, 903 Artisans has chosen a worthy “chairity” to split the proceeds with. According to President Nancy Coe, funds raised from “An Auction You Can Chair-ish” will be divided between the club and the Atlanta Grade School Friends, another local group that is working to restore the old grade school building on Miller Street.
The fifteen chairs were donated to the club by the city of Atlanta after they were found in a vacated downtown building. Members of the art club have created works of art on the unusual pallets.
The chairs are currently being displayed at area businesses for the public to see and place their silent bids. The auction will end with a reception at 7:00 pm on December 2 with a reception at Luigi’s Italian Restaurant on East Street in Atlanta.
