Queen City FFA competes at show
Queen City FFA Livestock Show Exhibitors showed up and showed out at the 2022 Cass County Livestock Show recently. QC had 17 out of 28 kids make the sale.
Broilers/Chickens
Hunter Crowe placed third overall and Joey Thompson placed fifth overall with their pens of broilers (chickens) out of 19 pens. Both received a banner during the Parade of Champions.
Goats
Mason Campbell placed first in both of his classes with his two goats. He was also Grand Champion, Reserve Showmanship and fifth overall. He received two belt buckles and a banner during the Parade of Champions.
Brylee Everett placed first in her class and third overall with her goat and also received a banner during the Parade of Champions.
Mackenzie Gaskin placed fifth in her class with her goat and also won Reserve Showmanship with her goat receiving a belt buckle during the Parade of Champions. Mackenzie also made sale with her rabbits but you are only allowed to sell one species so she chose to sell her goat. This is a great accomplishment to make sale with both species. Mason Stringer placed third in his class. He was an alternate for the sale.
Rabbits - this is out of 45 pens of rabbits.
Bella Morgan won Grand Champion. She received a belt buckle. Case Wiley won Reserve Grand Champion. He received a belt buckle.
Clayton Whittenberg was third overall and received a banner. Micah Whittington was fourth overall and received a banner. Ruby McCasland was fifth overall and received a banner.
Caroline Coats was seventh overall, Dahlia Stephens was eighth overall, Tucker Coats was 10th overall, Aubrey Norton was 11th overall, Lola Gladden was 12th overall, Bailey Pierce was 17th overall and Tesla Langston was 19th overall.
