Lady Rabbs earn several 14-3A All-District awards
Atlanta’s volleyball team made another astounding run through the state playoffs.
After finishing district undefeated the Lady Rabbs charged into the fourth round of the playoffs for the second consecutive year with a full head of steam.
Unfortunately for the Lady Rabbs the end of the line was the Regional Semifinals.
With the season over 14-3A All-District honors were handed out and Atlanta littered the list.
First-year Head Coach Tau Maxwell earned Coach of the Year by unanimous vote, Kaylon “KP” Partain was named Most Valuable Player by unanimous vote, Kym Sheppard was named Most Valuable Blocker and Rylie Pattillo was named Most Valuable Setter.
Both Keyma Smith and Amaya Williams-Young earned First Team honors, and Ziza Garcia, Sabriiyah Young and Carlajah Adger earned Second Team honors.
Players tabbed as Honorable Mention were: Janeisha Fields, Jaliyah Brown, Annemarie Hanner, Madison McCoy, Makaylin King and Kalissa Reliford.
Lady Rabbs who earned Academic All-District honors were: Carlajah Adger, Kaylon Partain, Amaya Williams-Young, Jaliyah Brown, Annemarie Hanner, Madison McCoy, Rylie Pattillo, Ma’kaylin King, Sabriiyah Young, Kym Sheppard, Kinlee Hamilton, Janeisha Fields, Keymya Smith, Ziza Garcia and Kalissa Reliford.
