Cass County Extension Office has just about completed their move to 1008 N. Louise Street, where the modest office space is nestled near Jeff Peace Financial. The move from Linden appears bittersweet for Cass County Extension Agents.
“We are sad to leave Linden but happy with the new options,” said Agent Jessie Rymel, with Agriculture & Natural Resources.
“We are in the process of moving now, (but) having to wait until voting is over to complete the process. The location in Atlanta really meets our needs. It has classroom spaces and a kitchen along with offices, which we’ve needed for a long time,” she added.
The Cass County Extension Office was temporarily closed to walkin-ins while voting was going on, according to agents. Those hoping to make an appointment with an agent can contact them at 903-756-5391. Hours of operation are 8-4, Monday-Friday. Thank you in advance for your cooperation during this transition.
