Queen City’s middle school volleyball program took on Hooks on Oct. 3.
The seventh grade A team beat the Lady Hornets with scores of 13-15, 25-16, and 25-22. Whitlee Carrell led with 11 service points and Sarah Jones added seven.
The seventh grade B team split with scores of 25-18 and 7-11. Abby Young led with seven points and Madison Butler added six points.
The eighth grade A team defeated the Lady Hornets in two sets with scores of 26-24 and 25-22. The Lady Bulldogs were down 12-4 in the second match and fought back to win. Lucy Kelton led with 12 service points and Mallory Hamilton added four points.
The eighth grade B team beat the Lady Hornets with scores of 25-6 and 24-7. Anna Young led with nine points and Madison Butler added eight.
