Linden Lions Club

Kristy Whisenhunt spoke at the Linden Lions Club, She is a Traffic Safety Specialist supporting the Atlanta district, which includes 9 counties. She is responsible for administering and overseeing state and federal traffic safety-funded grants, programs, and projects. She also chairs a local traffic safety coalition and represents the TxDOT behavioral traffic safety section at various national, state, and local meetings. Kristy received her Master’s of Business Administration with an emphasis in Management from Texas A&M University in 2021 and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice- Law Enforcement from Stephen F.

Austin State University in 2007. Kristy is a nationally certified child passenger safety technician and is also a Texas Peace Officer serving part-time at Texas A&M University- Texarkana PD.
