Women’s club holds prayer breakfast
The Atlanta Area Women’s Club held its annual prayer breakfast on September 10, 2022, in the fellowship hall of First Baptist Church Atlanta. The club was entertained with classical and spiritual music from a talented violinist, Ethan Miller from Texarkana, AR. The speaker, Lindsey Thompson of Atlanta, gave a powerful message about God’s faithfulness in her life. New officers were announced, goals projected, and committee chairpersons appointed.
New President, Sherry Griffin, presided over the event with other officers assisting. Vice President Sharon Riley, Secretary Judy Ragsdale, Treasurer Elaine Carney, Reporter Sherri Shirley, Historian Judy Coolidge and Parliamentarian Sue Tomberlain all agreed to chair various committees.
