Atlanta vs. New Boston

Atlanta welcomes New Boston to town this Friday night. These two teams have bene playing one another since 1925 and Atlanta holds a 51-15-2 lead in the series.

During the almost 100 years the two schools have played one another on the gridiron Atlanta has had the longest win streaks which include 10 straight, 13 straight and 16 consecutive.

Up until last year the Rabbs had beaten the Lions seven consecutive years and has only lost to New Boston four times since 1986.

Both teams are coming off of victories and only one can leave with its first L.

Before the contest Atlanta’s Athletics Hall of Fame will enshrine three more members into the hall.

Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. and the HoF ceremony is set for 7 p.m. on the track in front of the home side.

Queen City vs. Como-Pickton

Queen City will host Como-Pickton this Friday on Homecoming night.

The two teams have only played six times since 1966 and haven’t played one another since 1971.

QC has a 4-2 lead in the series and looks to makes that 5-2 this Friday night.

Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m.

Linden-Kildare at Big Sandy

Linden-Kildare travels to Big Sandy this Friday for another meeting with the Wildcats.

The two teams have only played each other three times, but L-K has won the last two meetings.

The Tigers first played Big Sandy in 1933 and didn’t play again until they were realigned in district in 2020 and 2021. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
