2022 UPCOMING EVENTS

Our 1st Educational Series was a success. I want to thank Caffe’Crema,Chicken Express,The Dawngeon and Atlanta ISD Culinary Class for their food donations for the event. We were all well fed. This is a quarterly event. If you were unable to attend we plan to have a recording of last week’s educational series available to you next week. Our next topic will be business tax information for your small business. Lacy Hicks, the chief appraiser will be our speaker. The date will be announced in the coming weeks.

For our NEW MEMBERS, mark your calendar for Chamber 101 on September 20th. This is your time to ask questions and get answers on how the chamber can help you and what we are all about.

The Fall Maker’s Market is also coming up. This event has always been a favorite. October 8th from 9-2 vendors will be at Woods Park with incredible homemade items. Many of our stores will be open with great deals as well. Glow Run is October 22nd. I need runners and sponsors for this event. This is a fun event even if you are not a runner. We will have a PARTY before, during and after with music and a bit of glow fun. This is very labor intensive with set up/break down/ and event participation so your help, encouragement,and/or sponsorship is appreciated. And yes it isAugust but shouldn’t we talk about Christmas? The Atlanta Christmas Parade is Presented by TEXAR! December 3rd at 5:30pm the streets of Atlanta turn into a wonderland of fun.

This has become a HUGE event for our area and is free to all involved. This year’s theme is “Christmas Movies”. So get your creative hats on! Sign ups for the Christmas Parade will be available next week.
