God is for us

Romans 8:31 - What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? What “things” is Paul talking about? The “All things that work together for our good” in verses 28-30.

Verse 32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him (Jesus) also freely give us all things? 33. Who shall lay anything to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifies (declares righteous).

If God be for us, then it doesn’t matter the charge against us, it doesn’t matter what the accuser of the brethren has to say! He cannot turn God against us, he cannot kill us, he cannot sway God’s mind to cast us away! It is God that justifies us, because we have been declared righteous in Him!

We are the Called, the Chosen, the Justified, and the Glorified!

We were chosen from the foundation of the world!

Foreordained to be conformed to the image of his Son, called unto salvation by the Gospel of Christ justified in the sight of God, that satan’s accusation of our past sins, or anything we have done since salvation, cannot be used against us, once repentance has taken place, we are washed, cleansed, sanctified, justified!

Paul says it plain in Romans 8:1 - There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

We are free indeed because the Son has made us free. All things work together for our good, because God is for us, because he loves us, because we are called according to his purpose to be conformed to the image of his Son, as Adam was created in the image and likeness of God, and fell from that state, God is calling a people back into his image, back to Holiness and Righteousness, back to walking in the ways of the Lord, back to being set apart from the things of this world, because our citizenship is in Heaven. If God be for me, he will fulfill every good work in me, as Philippians 1:6 declares…Being confident of this very thing, that he which has begun a good work in you, will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ!

If God be for you, who can be against you? Nobody, nothing and because of that,, nothing can separate us from God’s love…not persecution, not famine, not tribulation, not distress, not nakedness, not peril, not even death! But in all these things, we are More than conquerors through him that loved us….Paul declares that death, life, angels (holy and fallen), principalities (rulers), powers, present things, and not even future things, nor height,(things in the heavens), nor depth,(things in the earth), nor anything created, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which was manifested in Christ Jesus our Lord.

In these last and evil days, remember Saints, that God is on your side, and in your heart, and if he is for you, to work all things for your good, then who can be against you?

God bless.
