Genealogical society meeting

For the June 9th meeting C.C.G.S.’s meeting, Vice President Louella Vernon will talk about the various surnames our members are researching and the many different spellings and changes of these surnames.

Please remember this C.C.G.S. membership meeting is on a “NEW DAY & TIME”, the Second Thursday of the month at 12:00 noon.

This is our annual picnic meeting and you are invited to bring a covered dish or desert.

C.C.G.S. will furnish the Meat, Tea, and Water. And we hope that as many of you as possible will join us, and bring a friend, for this interesting and informative meeting that will be held in our usual location, The Fellowship Hall of the First United Methodist Church of Queen City at Marietta and Fourth Streets, Queen City, Texas.

As always the public is invited and there is never any charge.
