Bloomburg thumps Fruitvale 11-1, wins Regional Semifinal crown

Bloomburg ripped Fruitvale 11-1, in a 1-game playoff scenario on May 13, and earned a Regional Semifinal title in the process.
Corinne Ray was a beast from the circle as she struck out 12 batters and gave up only one hit over six innings of work.
Sophomore slugger Kaleigh Glasgow smacked a homerun and hit a triple to go along with her two RBIs, Ray hit a triple and had two RBIs, Emalee Blizzard hit a RBI single, Katie Mote hit a single and Jaysi Pond added a RBI.
The Lady ’Cats will take on Chireno in the Regional Finals. The 1-game playoff contest will be at 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, at ETBU.
