Linden-Kildare Lady Tigers earn Bi-District title

In game one, the Lady Tigers broke a 3-3 tie and won the game. Hayley Mason locked down the Lady Eagles’ bats in the bottom half of the seventh to seal the deal.
Mason struck out four and gave up six hits in the complete game. She also hit a double from the plate.
Kaycee Neville hit a RBI single and the Lady Tigers received single-hit contributions from Alivia Carlisle, Allie Smallwood and Emily Wall.
In game two, Hayley Mason gave up three hits and struck out seven batters.
Mason also hit a 2-run homerun from the dish, Alivia Carlisle had two RBIs, Allie Smallwood hit a double, Ashtin Patterson hit two singles, a dub and had a RBI, Emily Wall hit a RBI triple, Kaycee Neville hit a single, Sydney Hampton hit a RBI single and Zaliyah Mitchell hit a single, a double and had a RBI.
L-K fell behind in both games, but never gave up, coming from behind to win both, and Kyndal Fitts hit her first career homer.
The Lady Tigers will play a one game playoff game at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, May 6, at East Texas Baptist University in Marshall versus Union Grove. District, THSCA, and TGCA passes will be accepted but there will be gate fees for adults and students/children.
