Middle School State Math and Science Meet

On Saturday, April 2, Morris Upchurch Middle School had 21 sixth through eighth grade students compete in four events at the State TMSCA Math & Science Meet at the UTSA campus in San Antonio.
Jayden Nevins (sixth grader) was the first place champion in number sense.
The number sense team brought home the second place team trophy.
The math team brought home the sixth place team trophy and overall 17 individual places in the top 20 of the events. Overall, the MUMS team was the sixth place Sweepstakes team.
