Lady Bulldogs/Lady Rabbs

On Apr. 15, two county rivals collided on the diamond. Queen City was looking to stay hot as they came in with an 8-game winning streak and winners of 17 of their last 18 games. Atlanta was hoping to put another L on QC’s schedule.

QC had a 7-1 advantage going into the sixth innings where the Lady Rabbs plated three runs to pull within three runs.

The Lady Rabbs couldn’t pull off the comeback and fell 7-4.

Trinity Oden was superb from the circle for QC (10-1) as she scattered three hits over seven innings and struck out 10 batters.

Serenity Oden had three hits which included a double and had two RBIs, Mallori Stringer hit a double and a single, Brenna Turbeville added a hit, Trinity Oden had two hits with three RBIs, Lauren Carrell had two hits with a ribbie, Jacey Cauthorn had a hit and Erica Lavoie had a hit.

For Atlanta, Tori Clayton hit a double and a single, Jordan Hodge had a hit and Sydni Davis added a hit and two RBIs.

Lady Wildcats

On Apr. 12, Bloomburg and Linden-Kildare battled each other in a tight game.

The last meeting between these two powerhouse softball teams resulted in a 6-3 win for the Lady Wildcats.

This time around the Lady Tigers came out on top by a narrow score of 2-0. Corinne Ray was a beast from the circle for Bloom burg as she struck out 14 batters in six innings while giving up only two hits.

L-K’s freshman hurler, Zaliyah Mitchell, scattered five hits over seven innings while striking out one.

Alivia Carlisle hit a double and had a RBI and Kyndal Fitts hit a double for the Lady Tigers.

For Bloomburg, Ray hit two singles, Skyler Newell hit a double, Katie Mote hit a single and Haylee Breedlove hit a single.

On Apr. 15, the Bloomburg beat Avery 12-2.

Corinne Ray scattered two hits over seven innings with 10 strikeouts, hit two doubles from the plate and collected three RBIs.

Kaleigh Glasgow hit two dubs and had a RBI, Haylee Breedlove hit two singles, two doubles, had three RBIs and stole three bags, Cassie Glasgow hit two singles and one double, Jaysi Pond added a single, Emalee Blizzard had two hits and a RBI and Skyler Newell had a hit and a ribbie.

Lady Tigers

On Apr. 15, Linden-Kildare topped McLeod 7-5.

Alivia Carlisle hit a single and a double, Ashtin Patterson hit a single, Hayley Mason had two hits, Kaycee Neville hit a RBI single, and both Sophia Hampton and Sydney Hampton hit RBI singles.

Tigers

On Apr. 15, Linden-Kildare smacked Avery 17-1.

Kyler Fitts gave up just two hits in three innings with three Ks, Peyton Foreman struck out four batters and gave up one hit in an inning of relief and Jonathan Owen struck out one in an inning of relief.

Jackson Lee had two hits, including a homerun, with four RBIs, Hugh Tyson added two hits with a RBI, Owen hit a double and a triple with three ribeyes, Fitts had a hit, Logan Hankins posted two hits with two ribbies, Maysen Lemmon had a couple of hits and Foreman added a RBI.

On Apr. 15, the Tigers pounded Avinger 11-2, behind nice pitching performances by Trey Phillips, Maysen Lemmon and Carter Foreman. Phillips struck out seven and gave up just two hits in four innings and both Lemmon and Foreman struck out two batters apiece and gave up only one hit each in relief.

Jackson Lee continued to swing a hot bat as went 5-for-5 with three singles, a double, a triple and six RBIs, Foreman added two singles, Hugh Tyson hit a single, Jonathan Owen had two hits with a RBI, Kyler Fitts had a RBI, Peyton Foreman added a RBI and Phillips, Lemmon and Logan Hankins each hit one single apiece.

Rabbits

On Apr. 15, Atlanta outdistanced Queen City 7-3.

Dylan Spears struck out three batters and gave up four hits over four innings and Will Woodruff struck out five and gave up no hits in three innings of relief.

Nick Burden hit a double, a single, Dex Ebarb hit a double, a single and had three RBIs, Cooper Mc-Clure hit a double and had two RBIs, Adrian Kennington hit a triple, Woodruff hit a RBI single, Ty Graf added a hit and Peyton Harrison had a RBI.

For QC, Brayden Wiley hit a single, Kaden Satterfield hit a single, Reggie Harrison had two RBIs, Clint Wiley hit a double and Clayton Whittenburg hit a single.
