Atlanta Rabbits Atlanta’s baseball squad thumped DeKalb 15-3 on Mar. 29.

Will Woodruff scattered three hits over four innings with four strikeouts, Cooper McClure pitched an inning of relief and struck out two and Peyton Harrison struck out one batter in his one inning of relief.

McClure smashed a 3-run homerun, Ty Graf hit two doubles and accumulated five RBIs, Woodruff had three hits which included a double, Kale Carpenter and Harrison hit two singles apiece, Adrian Kennington added a RBI, Dex Ebarb hit a single and had three ribbies and Dylan Spears hit an RBI single.

On Apr. 1, the Rabbs blanked New Boston 13-0 in five innings. Will Woodruff gave up just one hit in four innings of work and struck out six. Nick Burden pitched an inning of relief and struck out one batter while giving up no hits.

Kale Carpenter as on fire from the dish as he notched four RBIs, hit two doubles, hit a single and hit an inside the park homerun.

Ty Graf hit three doubles, a single and had four ribeyes, Cooper McClure added a double with two RBIs, Woodruff hit a single, Dex Ebarb hit an RBI single, Dylan Spears had two knocks and Peyton Harrison hit a single.

L-K Tigers

Linden-Kildare’s baseball team beat McLeod 13-3 on Mar. 29.

Maysen Lemmon scattered seven hits with four strikeouts.

Asher Wells, Logan Hankins, Lemmon and Peyton Foreman hit doubles in the contest and Kyler Fitts hit two doubles. Jackson Lee and Jonathan Owen hit singles, Carter Foreman hit a RBI single, Fitts and Hankins had three RBIs apiece and Wells, Foreman and Lemmon had RBIs in the game.

On Apr. 1, the Tigers fell to Rivercrest 5-4. Peyton Foreman, Trey Phillips and Kyler Fitts each had a hit to lead the team.

The JV squad beat the Rebels 12-1 as Tae’shun Mitchell, Ethan Churchman, and TJ Patterson each had hits in the game.

Atlanta Lady Rabbs

Atlanta’s softball team beat DeKalb 12-6 on Mar. 29. Valarie Mason (3 Ks) and Jordan Hodge (5 Ks) combined for eight strikeouts.

Tori Clayton was a homer shy of the cycle as she hit two singles, a double, a triple and notched three RBIs, Cara Taylor hit a single and a triple, Sydni Davis had two hits with four ribbies, Mason hit a RBI single, Sabriiyah Young hit a homerun and a single, both Hodge and Kinlee Hamilton hit singles and Anna Davis added a RBI.

On Apr. 1, the Lady Rabbs pummeled New Boston 15-2.

Jordan Hodge struck out six in three innings and Valarie Mason struck out two in two innings.

Cara Taylor hit a homerun and had two RBIs, Tori Clayton hit a double and had two ribeyes, Sydni Davis hit an RBI single, Sabriiyah Young hit a double, Hannah Wall added a RBI, Hodge had a couple of hits with two ribbies and Anna Davis hit a double and had three RBIs.

L-K Lady Tigers

Linden-Kildare’s softball team topped Avery 15-3 on Apr. 1.

Avery was up 3-0 until the third frame. From that point L-K scored 15 unanswered, including a 9-run fifth to put the game away.

Hayley Mason gave up seven hits and struck out five. From the plate Mason hit a triple and a single while accruing three RBIs.

Allie Smallwood hit a double, a couple of singles and had two RBIs, Kaycee Neville hit a dub, a single and had a RBI, Alivia Carlisle had two hits with two ribbies, Sydney Hampton hit a single, Zaliyah Mitchell hit a RBI single and Kyndal Fitts added a RBI.

Overall the Lady Tigers stole 11 bags in the game.

Bloomburg Lady Wildcats

Bloomburg’s softball team annihilated Maud 21-11 on Apr. 1.

Jaysi Pond scattered 13 hits and struck out three and Corinne Ray struck out three and gave up two hits in relief.

Haylee Breedlove and Ray hit a couple of doubles and Emalee Blizzard hit a dub. Ray also hit three singles and had six ribeyes, Breedlove added a single and three ribbies and Blizzard added a single and had two RBIs.

Pond hit a RBI single, Katie Mote had a RBI, Kaleigh Glasgow hit a single, Sunni Blizzard hit two singles, Skyler Newell hit two singles and had three RBIs and Jolie Greer hit a RBI single.

QC Lady Bulldogs

Queen City’s softball team is on a 5-game winning streak and is tied for first place in district as of this article.

On Mar. 29, the Lady Bulldogs trampled Paul Pewitt 11-1.

Serenity Oden scattered eight hits over six innings and struck out two batters.

QC was fire from the plate as Keeli Mainer, Oden and Brenna Turbeville each hit homeruns.

Oden also hit a triple and Turbeville hit two doubles. Lauren Carrell added a RBI, Laurel Moore hit a single, Jacey Cauthorn hit a couple of singles, and Mainer added a single.
