Lee named Founders Day Special Guest

Andrea Lee, ranked #11 Flyweight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship will be a special guest at the Founder’s Day Fair scheduled for September 10, 2022. She will also be Grand Marshall of the parade that day and will have an autograph booth with merchandise.

Andrea was born and raised in Atlanta and is the daughter of Cheryl Taylor of Atlanta and Kent Lee of Queen City. She is a 2007 graduate of Queen City High School. She is professionally known as Andrea KGB (Kicking Girls Butts) Lee.

Shortly after high school, Andrea moved to Shreveport where she began her training as a boxer, eventually becoming the 2014 National Golden Gloves Champion in her division. Prior to that win she was a two-time Louisiana Golden Gloves Champ.

Andrea has also trained in several martial arts disciplines, including Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai. Studying under Master Relson Gracie, Andrea became a three-time World Muay Thai Champion in her division.

After becoming the World Flyweight Champion TWICE for Legacy Fighting Alliance, she signed with Ultimate Fighting Championship in September 2017.

Andrea came out of the gate swinging and won her inaugural fight on May 19, 2018 against Veronica Macedo by unanimous decision during UFC Fight Night 129 in Brazil.

That match also earned Andrea the Fight of the Night bonus.

Andrea still resides in the Shreveport area with her 10-year-old daughter, Ainslee, and they visit family in Atlanta often. She is known for wearing a signature black Stetson as a symbol of her Texas roots.
