ATLANTA AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

Event Season is in full swing at the Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerce. With warmer temperatures ahead, the planning is underway. Our members are able to reap the benefits of our labor. As the new Chamber President, all of my energy ( and that is A LOT) is running full steam ahead.

The 2022 Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerce Banquet and Awards Ceremony will be held April 2nd at 6pm at the Atlanta Middle School. Tickets to the event are 25 dollars a person and include a great meal, entertainment and much more. We are excited to have JB. Smith as our guest speaker for this year’s Chamber Banquet and Award Ceremony. This nationally recognized humorist and author was the former Sheriff in Smith County for more than 36 years! We are honored to have him as our guest to motivate our members as we strive to bring community and business to an all new high in our area. In addition to events, the chamber strives on adhering to the needs of our members. Since taking office I have visited several members to find out what their struggles and triumphs are in our area. Communication is what our members want and that is my top priority as we enter this season. We are offering new benefits for all members including exclusive learning opportunities If I have not made it by your place of business, feel free to stop by the chamber for a visit.

Our community is also changing as more people move to our area. The chamber serves as our local visitors center and we are working to provide assistance to our long term and our new residents alike. We are in the process of making welcome bags for new residents. Currently the Chamber office provides a variety of informational services in our area from maps, voting information to important numbers.
