LIBRARY NEWS
STAY & PLAY (CAREGIVER/CHILD) PROGRAM WEDNESDAYS BEGINNING JAN. 26-FEB.23 @ 10:30.
Book Bites at 11:30 am on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Next meeting will be Feb. 8th. New program to enjoy a free light meal and discuss any good book recently read. There will be no required reading. Craft Time each 4th Tuesday at 1 pm. FREE but there is a donation jar.
Father-Daughter Dance: February 12th from 7-9 PM at The Legacy Event Center. Tickets are $10, and are available at the library, City Hall, Med-Shop, and the Hughes Springs Elementary school.
Red Radiance Garden Club meets at 10:30 on the 3rd Thursday of each month. Jan. 20 will be the next meeting. Contact the library for additional information. Only $10 per year to join this group.
TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) continues to meet each Monday at 9:30 for weigh-in and 10:00 for meeting. There is a small fee for this group. The library hosts an on-going book sale for a suggested donation of $1.00 per hardback and $.25 for paperbacks.
Brown Bag Lunch has returned. Look for notifications from Missie McCord. Contact the library at 903-639- 1332, if you wish to receive notifications. For your convenience, a book drop and a video drop are located behind the library. They look like mailboxes. They are open 24/7.

Weekly Activities (For Children): Preschool story time 10:30 on Wednesdays. Homeschool book club at 10:30 on Wednesdays. STEM activities at 4pm on 1st Tuesday of every month for school age children.
(For Adults): Page Turners book club meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays at 10:30.
PUT YOUR READING CAPS ON AND COME DISCUSS: February 10th: “The Thirteenth Tale” by Diane Setterfield. February 24th: “Sold on a Monday” by Kristina McMorris. Books are available at the library, and refreshments will be served.

LEGACY NEWS
CANVAS & COCKTAILS: February 7th, from 6-8pm. This painting class has reached it’s 20-person capacity! If you’d like to be put on the waiting list in case of any cancellations, please contact us at 903-639-1095. All classes are $25, and include all supplies you will need to complete a 16x20 inch canvas. Snacks and light alcohol are welcome, however you must be age 21, or older, to consume alcohol.
