New district realignments released by UIL

Every two years the University Interscholastic League (UIL) realignment process can be an exciting time for fans, players and coaches or it can it can be a total nightmare travel-wise.

On Thursday, Feb. 3, the UIL released the new district realignments for football, basketball and volleyball.

Atlanta

Atlanta’s football district from the past two years changed slightly with this new alignment as New Boston dropped down a division.

The Rabbits will still face off against Gladewater, Sabine, Tatum, White Oak and Jefferson in Class 3A, Division 1, District 6 in Region 2.
