On Saturday, Jan. 22, the MUMS Math & Science Team traveled to Pine Tree Middle School in Longview. The students represented Queen City wonderfully with many placing in the top 10 of their event(s).

Here’s how they placed: Sixth Grade - Jayden Nevins - 1st Place Number Sense & 2nd Place General Math; Landry Blythe - 8th Place General Math; Abby Sutton - 7th Place Calculator; Anna Johnson - 9th Place Calculator; Gerald Malina - 5th Science and Kynleigh Adcock - 7th Science.

Seventh Grade - Gabriella Mendoza - 1st Place Number Sense & 3rd Place General Math; Ryland Durmon - 4th Place Number Sense & 1st Place General Math; Mallory Hamilton - 4th Place Calculator; Evan Benson - 6th Place Calculator; Ariana Robison - 10th Place Calculator; Anna Leigh Young - 1st Place Science and Cameron Clarke - 6th Place Science.

Eighth Grade - Kyre McKinney - 2nd Place Science.
